We are looking for two (or more) Post-Doctoral Scholars to join our team at the HEDCO Institute for Evidence-Based Educational Practice and contribute to our work aiming to close the gap between educational research and practice. Principal responsibilities include participating in knowledge mobilization activities, collaborating with members from the larger institute team on evidence synthesis research projects, participating in project meetings and conference calls, and working closely with institute faculty and other team members to achieve institute goals. One position will specifically focus on connecting evidence synthesis research and policy at the local level as part of a multi-year project on the use of research evidence in youth and family policy.

These positions are full-time for 1 year, with multi-year appointments possible contingent upon receipt of ongoing funding. This position is housed in the Eugene COE building, though remote/hybrid working options are also available for the entirety of the position (several current team members work remotely). The desired start date is May 2026. The annual salary will be based on the NIH postdoctoral scale, and the level will be set according to the candidate’s prior postdoctoral experience at the time of hire.
The position will have a mentor plan and involve professional development opportunities throughout the appointment to improve knowledge mobilization skills.
