The Department of Educational Policy Studies at Georgia State University invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Quantitative Research starting August 2025. Candidates must have an earned doctorate with an emphasis on quantitative methodology and evidence of previous application of these methods to relevant issues in education. The position entails teaching and mentoring PhD, EdD, and Masters students from the College of Education in graduate level courses. Presence on campus for face-to-face teaching and mentoring of students is an essential function of the position. The modality, location and day/time of classes is at the sole discretion of the department. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain an on-going program of research and publication, seek external support for research when appropriate, advise and mentor graduate students, serve on graduate student thesis and dissertation committees, work with diverse student populations, provide service to the university and profession, and communicate effectively with educational partners.
